Seven Random Facts

I got tagged to do the “random facts meme” by Kim over at GirlRobot and ordinarily, I’d have some kind of comment for how much I dislike the term “meme” – almost as much as I dislike the term “blog” – but I’m feeling a little lazy because it’s 3:00am.

Here are the rules of this particular Meme:

Here goes…

1. I used to be really, really, ridiculously athletic. I ran track and was a sprinter. I played softball for 8 years and led my league in stolen bases and was nominated to a number of championship teams – playing second base. I followed this up with horseback riding for the past 11 years, and showed at the collegiate level, where I made a few trips to higher level competitions and trained a few angry-assed ponies. Now I am entirely too lazy. Boo-urns.
2. I am way WAY too maternal. If someone is drunk beyond belief (read: Miss Roommate) and is unable to stand or speak or not puke, I will drop whatever I’m doing and magically become sober, so as to help whoever needs it. The other night, Fancy stayed over and passed out on a chair – I didn’t want to wake him so I threw a blanket over him and he gave me this sleepy little smile and muttered something about how I “didn’t have to do that.” Boy doesn’t understand, I DO have to do that.
3. I swear to God – my boobs are growing again. I was a B all through high school and into college. Then I got on birth control and bumped up to a C. Now I’m a D and I don’t think they’re done. I’m not a tall person, I’m going to get all top-heavy and fall over.
4. I am entirely too knowledgeable in the realm of celebrity gossip – in college, I wrote a giant term paper about how normal people are obsessed with high-profile celebrities, based on a sports-psychology phenomenon called “BIRG”ing. Easiest paper I have ever written in my life.
5. I did not lose my virginity until I was nearly 20. People who meet me seem to have a difficult time believing this. I’ve made up for lost time, kids – but I’m certainly not lying.
6. I’ve noticed a trend with the boys I go for: they’re tall (5′10″ and up), obscenely good-looking, charismatic as all fuck, and gigantic assholes. The last bit is okay because I am also an asshole, and I eat nice boys for breakfast. If he can’t keep up, he probably won’t last long.
7. I found both my jobs, my apartment, my roommate, and The Boy – all on Craigslist. Suck it, nonbelievers. If it isn’t on CL – I don’t need it.

As per the rules, I’m supposed to tag people and right now, I am entirely too lazy. Suck it.
